Question Steering question

Hi everyone, just a question about keeping my Excursion straight when driving. Lately it seems to wander when I'm driving down the road, it never did that before. I had new tires installed a couple of months ago, and ever since it has been hard to keep it straight when driving. Tires seem to ride nice, they are not unbalanced. Alignment was good before the tires, now the steering wheel sits at an angle(10 o'clock & 4 o'clock) instead of sitting straight( 9 & 3) the way it did before the tires were installed. Has anyone else had trouble keeping their truck straight on the road? Could they have damaged something when they jacked up the truck to change the tires? Let me know.

I would investigate cuz it sounds like the steering linkage is/was bent. Do you know someone else with the same vehicle? You could have theirs beside or nose-to-nose with yours to compare the two.

It did clunk a little when going over bumps. I changed the draglink and the clunking is gone. Now my steering wheel is way off. I set thee new drag link to the same number of threads as the old one but it's really out of wack. Any suggestions?

if it's the draglink going to the pitman arm you replaced it's only for clearvision (steering wheel position)adj, just set your wheels straight ahead and adj the draglink untill the wheel pos is good.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.
