New Set Of TOYO Open Country ATII's In Play

Had my Toyo dealer replace my Toyo Open Country HT tires with the new Open County AT II's yesterday.
He managed to have his local Toyo Tire Rep. pro rate my HT's at 27% wear, which means that it cost me 27% of my original investment in those tires.
The remainder of my original investment went towards the cost of the new set .
The truck now rides slightly stiffer, but thats ok, and it will take a bit of time for me to put them to the test.
Still have 30 days in order to return them for something else again if need be.
The AT II's look quite beefy compaired to the HT's!
I 'll try and post a review of them, as well as a pic. once I have spent some time with them.

Press on regardless!

Who knew you could trade in your old tires on new ones ?

Who's your tire dealer ? I got an old set with 100,000 on them that I was going to take to the landfill, but if he can pro rate them, that's awesome.

Better than having someone try to low ball me on the set of them at greater than 60% , would you not agree?
Quite sure that you have been down this road before as well.
With all of the stupid fees that they ding you with, the dump fee for your 100,000 mile tires would be cheaper for you.
You saving those for a swing set perhaps?

Press on regardless!

Do that another twelve times and you'll be getting a new set of tires FREEEEEEE every month.

That's better than the old Columbia House deals that were out there on cassette's and CD's.

Awesome.

Manufactured in 2012
Purchased in April 2012
They had just over 22,000 K's on them.

Wet traction issues, (abs in play with these, and not with the original BFG Long Trails)
On going vibration issues, and two being shown to be quite out of round.
Kudos to both the Toyo Dealer and Area Rep. for trying to make me a happy customer.
This particular set of HT's are being returned back to the Toyo factory for investigation.
Btw, the new Open Country AT II's are manufactured in the USA.

Press on regardless!

Doubtful they'll ever get there, but kudos to them for trying for sure.
