Tire Pressure Sensors

Well I bought a set of winter
tires an ordered a set of sensor on line from The Part Monster. They were working great until a month ago. I was heading to the states to do some shopping with wife. The computor advised me of a Sensor failure. Only one failed I have tried to get a hold of the guy at the part monster, looks like they my be out of business. The sensor did not have to be programed once installed the computor picked up the signal and all was fine. So there are 2 types of sensors programable and non programable. I ordered the little programer tool and followed the factory instructions and it did not work. So I have the programed type.

The truck is a 2016 for F 150 Supercrew 4X4. Any sugestions as to try and buy some? could go back to the net but thought I would ask you fine people of the Ford Tough Site for direction. I live in Winnipeg Manitoba
The dealer wants my first born child as part payment hahahahahaha
Thanks guys and gals

Dan

I ordered mine from Ford and they were like $50 a corner, haven't had any issues in all the years I've had them. Bought a set for the winter tires on the wires Edge too, same price.

What price range did you get quoted from your dealer ? $200 for a set of four is hardly first child territory, but depends on the kid I suppose.

Then again, I'll prefer to buy Ford and Ford Performance stuff over anything aftermarket, so I'm blatantly biased.

Well the dealer out this way wanted close to $100 per sensor so I think i'll just hunt around. I like to buy ford as well but The truck was expensive enought. I'm still paying for it. I needed to up grade still have a 2004 f 150 my son is the driver of that one. They keep going like the energizer bunny hhahhahaa I just wanted some site input as to who they used or what parts guys they used.
thanks for the input.

I got mine for under $20 at Princess Auto. Works on the 93 and 95, the Dodge and the boat trailer.

Thanks for the info Dan

Was looking for factory type. Princess auto here in the Peg does not carry the factory type.

Funny that the pricing would be different, I paid half the price for the same OEM parts.

You'd think the parts department out your way would be sourcing them form the same place, no wonder you're not dropping $400 for the set .

Funny odd, not funny ha-ha.

The Ď15-18 sensors are $88-99 ea at dealer depending if you have 315mhz or 433mhz.

Iíve seen oem motorcraft sensors on eBay for around $100 for a set of 4.
I havenít pulled the trigger yet. So canít confirm. But the pictures look good.

I did buy a set off eBay for the wifeís Ď16 Caravan and 2 didnít work. They were the same brand that mopar uses. The eBay seller refunded me for the whole set and I just reordered another 4. . Havenít got them installed yet.
