True Snow Tires

I got a wicked deal on a second set of identical factory wheels that are on my truck (ebay) They were so cheap I couldn't not buy them.......and they will save my current wheels from our wicked winters.
Anyway, since I did this I figured I might as well put a good set of true snow's on it. I decided on Bridgestone Blizzak's DM-Z3's (apparently a wicked snow tire for trucks and S.U.V's).
I searched everywhere and the cheapest I could find them in Canada was 205.00 per tire. I saw them as high as 330.00 per tire. I ended up ordering off Tire rack for 132.00 ea. Isn't that crazy cheap!
I am getting them shipped to a broker I use through work and when all is said and done, I will save atleast 300 total. I like to shop at home........but in this case
The truck should be potent in snow!

good price....but much smaller tire.
You won't get my size for that price........Once you go to 18" the price skyrockets!

I had Hankook z36 tires on my half ton and they performed flawlessly in the winter, even in bumper deep snow they just kept chugging along, icey highways were predictable. Thats what I'll put on the 350 this winter.

I put Michelin x ice on steel wheels for my truck and they work awesome, and they payed for themselves in two weeks, the deerfoot here in Calgary was very icy and a car lost control infront of me, he did 3 360's and I slammed my brakes on and stopped very quickly, avoiding the dumb [email protected]@ and the body shop at the same time.

do you have the link for that write-up?
and thank you.......finally somebody recognizes a great deal and doesn't say something terribly stupid like "well I got them for $25 cheaper per tire".........meanwhile their tires are 3 sizes smaller and on a rim 1-2" smaller. Dumb people these days, I tell ya!
and about the deal........people who say we need to shop at home and keep business local, must have shitloads of money. When I can save that much, I damn well will...........there's only one person who will look after your bank account and we all know who that is.
