Car rims on a truck?

Would it work? My bolt pattern (08 Ranger FX4) is 114.3 which is EXTREMELY popular in the car scene and would have thousands of rims to pick, but when I search for the truck, I find like 20 rims... If I decide to put 18s on the truck could I put car rims?? I mean isn't the tire doing all the work anyways?

I would say that if the width and offset are what you need then all you have to worry about is that the load rating on the rims is acceptable for the weight of the vehicle.

BEWARE!!!

beware of wheelsnext.com. I ordered rims from them at the beginning of summer. Nothing but problems. customer service is a joke. ended up cancelling my order after 3 months of them screwing up and having nothing stocked. But they do give a wide range of rims for your vehicle

I was running the aluminum rims off my Oldsmobile LSS on my 93 Splash (until tonight when I put my winter tires on which are mounted on Mustang Aluminum rims) and they fit nicely other than when turning the wheel hard, the tire does rub. But, I am ordering spacers for next summer.....unless I find a really nice set of aluminum or chrome rims over the winter at a great price.
