Rim poll

I will be putting winter tires on the 16" rims that came with my 2008 Ranger. So I am planning on getting some new chrome rims to put my all season tires on when the spring shows up again. Looking around there seems to be a huge selection of rims on the market, with so many different styles.

So I am asking the question what type of do you like the most? And why would you make said choice?

I am looking a 5 or 6 spoke style myself, chrome finish. I really dont like the full face style my self.

2008 Ford Ranger Sport 4x2. Vista Blue Clearcoat
Power Everything, 16' rims, limo tint, chrome front grille
Spray in bed liner, paint protected, chrome side mirrors
Rust proofed and undercoated, chrome running boards,
Bakflip II folding tonneau cover, 49" LED tail/backup light, smoke bug deflector.

If you're going replace your rotors and calipers, or even paint your calipers, then less spokes would be good so the brake/caliper upgrade can be seen.

Will you be putting mud tires on there or are they for show?

Crap! Never even thought of that! How the heck does one go about doing that, and what would upgrades look like? Do they come in chrome? Colors?

And these will just be for show, no mudding or offroading for me, just want to find something that really catches my eye.

However with that said, the less spokes, the less strength as well...figured i'd add that in there too...

I think some 5 spoke 18-20" chrome wheels and a drop would look pretty good!

Duplicolor caliper paint from Can Tire is decent, there are better paint kits available or you can go all out with Baer or AP Racing kits. Their calipers are already coloured. Google search is the easiest way to check them out and there are some videos on You Tube.
