New rims?

A buddy of mines co worker is selling the wheels off his F150. He's asking $2000 and the setup is apperantly flawless. The wheels are 17x9 Eagle Alloy 185 and the tires are 35x12.5 Micky Thompson Baja MTZ which supposedly even still have the nubbys. I want a new wheel setup but I was going to wait for my tax return. Hoping buddy will accept $1500. Also could someone do a photo shop for me?

What do you guys think?

(This is a pic of the right rim but the tires are different)

I think they would look pretty good. I'm just wondering if it may be a little too much black for your truck?? Also I think 2 g's is a little rich.

My thoughts exactly. I am not a fan of black rims at all but that's just me.

IMHO, the rims are just okay, but the combo isn't worth $2000. I think you could find a brand new combo for the same price, if not cheaper.

I would never pay $2000 I was thinking of offering $1500 cash so I'll find out tomorrow hopefully. Also I'm going with a black accented by chrome/stainless pieces look.(looking for an HD grille to finish it off)

Found these on E-bay

What are your opinions? I'm leaning towards #1

#1
17x8.5 American Racing Thug wheels with a Teflon coating

#2
17x8 American Racing Marin wheels with a Black finish

#3

#1=protrusions catch on everything when offroad ,#3=recesses on outer rim are very hard to keep clean(i know from experience),my choice would have to be #2 as they have nice clean lines. m2c
