Stock Rims 18's or 20's

I currently have the FX4 18" rims. Trying to get a feel for what other people like on their trucks.

Before I order my new BFG tires, just wanted to know if I should keep my 18" rims or change them for something else. (Want to keep them stock, no aftermarket)

1. 18" FX4 rims (currently have these)

2. 18" Chrome rims

3. 20" rims

I've found some deals on the Chrome 18" rims and the 20" rims, but should I just keep my FX4 rims.......... This is my dilemma

The 20" Ford factory rims are decent, the ride quality is a touch firmer than the 18's but nothing to get worked up over.
If your going to go the 20" factory route stay away from the Pirelli tires they are crap especially in the winter.

Oh and Dave, you and me are going to have to agree to disagree bud...LOL

20" wheels arnt too badly priced, its the rubber they like to burn you on. Less rubber equals more money...go figure.

I had an 06 FX4 with the 20" and I have to agree with HD Chrome the Pirrelli scorpions were crap also had to have 2 of the rims welded as they cracked.

Stock Rims 18s or 20s

Im wanting to get some new tires on this truck I just bought sometime in the near future. It has the stock 16x6.5 alloy rims. Im wanting to put on LT285/75R16/E BFG All-Terrain T/A KOs. However, the 285 isnt supposed to go on the 6.5" rim. I have read on some other site of people still putting them on stock rims and not having a problem, but they werent always talking on GM trucks. Has anyone here ever run 285s on their stock rims? And if so, what was your experience?
