Wheel finishing

I have been looking about for new wheels and tires for my 2wd Ranger. I admit it has been a few years since I when wheel shopping, but I am having a tough time finding wheels that I think would look good.

My truck is Red and my preference is to stay away from black wheels so that narrows my choices by quite a bit. Many of the other choices, if not black, seem to be painted - not polished aluminum or chrome.

Here is an example of the type of wheel I am speaking about. In this example they have a chrome version too.

Do any of you have any experience with those? How well do those types of wheels hold up? Do they still seem to provide that same kind of "bling" that chrome does?
