New Wheels/tires

Well I finally got the new tires today to go with the rims I got from Gordon a few weeks ago.

General Grabber UHP 265/70r16

Got them from tirerack.com I'm all for supporting the Canadian economy but not when they have a 125% mark up for the same f'in tire.

Total cost including conversion/shipping/tax/UPS fee/tolls/gas $737.
Total cost for just the tires locally/tax $845 and they'd have to be shipped in, so add another $125-150.

Drove to Port Huron, MI to get them. Was kinda nervous about the US border ppl but they were cool, just a few questions and on my way.

Coming back....I felt lucky Canada Customs didn't give me a cavity search.
But I'll post that story in another thread.

American Racing Torquelite 16x8 5x135mm

General Grabber UHP 265/70r16.

All I need now are those lugnuts from Dave and I'm all set.

Whaddya mean I dont pay my bills?? Whydya think I'm broke!!

Those rims will look great on your truck. Good deal on the tires from the tire rack.
I had to replace the summer tires on my wife's car this year. Priced at 188.00 plus
at goodyear/ ctc . Checked on line at the tire rack 99.00us each . Went to purchase turns out they are on sale 64.00us each.....SOLD !
Now I am all for supporting the Canadian economy to but !!!

Yeah Gordon's bro did a good job, I just gave it that little bit extra. Used this stuff called Busch Aluminum polish.

Hope to have them on by the end of the month. Hoping I can get dranged(Chris) to give them a few layers of clearcoat before I put them on.

And I need to wait till the next gtg to get some parts from Dave to finish this mod, and no I ain't gonna say what parts, that way Dave won't be tempted to make a lame ass joke
