Need winter set up for 2008 Harley

I am going to get winter rims and tires for my 2008 Harley this year and am trying to decide what to get.

Tire23 can get Nascar Daytona 17' rims with Hancooks for $1550 out the door and I think I kinda like them. What do you think? I can't spend alot of dough as I need to buy rims and tires for my car too. Not sure how good the red stripe will look with the orange on the truck.

I am not too concerned with how good the rubber is as I did just fine with my stock tires last winter. I am more concerned with preserving my 22's!

Any thoughts/opinions??

I would try to find some stock 18's off an fx4 or another model F150 with tires. Lots in craigslist here for under $500.

I am still on the hunt for winter wheels. Still thinking about those NAscar rims. Any suggestions on rim size? I can get 17, 18 or 20". I think I am leaning towards the 18"s so they look a little bigger, not too concerned with diff price on rubber between the sizes.
What do you guys think?

i would go with 17s so you could run a lil narrower and taller of a tire. narrower tires cut threw snow better than a wider lower profile.
