I can't speak to the MT version

But my 1-ton van (road ready weight about 7,000 lbs.) came with Hankook 245/75R16-E in a plain-jane "all season" version, more like an open street tread design.

I had my doubts at first about the brand and the tread, but I must admit they lasted well, I never had even a soft tire, and they pulled well enough in snow the first two winters. The all seasons are not for anything off-road...I couldn't move on the slightest grade on wet grass.

But what impressed me most was how well they lasted. I rotated every 10,000-15,000 miles and I just had them removed six weeks ago to install new tires for winter. (I wanted to keep them for the utility trailer, so I'd have a matched set on it, but they mistakenly got "recycled".)

There was enough tread left on them to run at least another summer on the van, but that doesn't work well in October when you only have one set of wheels.

How long did they last? 3 years 2 months or about 49,000 miles..with more than legal tread remaining (10-12,000 miles?).

The ones in the picture look like they would be good diggers.

all around you get quite the bang for the buck out of hankook tires, the mt is a good traction tire but is a little noisy on highway, and they wear like iron.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

right on well I had planned on putting them on the ranger but since I wrote that off last week I'm thinkin about gettin them for the new F150 I'm pickin up friday I'd love to get another set of BFG's again but the price is through the roof so for the price point I think I'm gonna go with the Hancook's and hopefully they work as well as the BFG's did

I love my Hankooks. They are the Dynapro AT-M's though. They are very quiet on the road, and have awesome traction.
