gps mount for dash tray??

i'm looking to mount my garmin gps unit to my dash somehow.. is there anything out there that will mount to the tray on the top part of my dash? (i have a 2007 f150) in my searching, i have seen units for gauge clusters that will mount there. have any of you seen anything like what im looking for? or will i have to go a more custom route and make one up myself??

Funny you should ask. As I just built my own a couple weeks ago. Nothing fancy. Have my GoPro mounted on it too. I can take it out of the truck when I want as I do not use it all the time. Fits in the dash tray slot perfectly. Going to mount my CamCorder on it too.

Did not screw the base of the GPS down as I use it in different trucks.

My truck is a 2007 F150 as well.

Thats just a piece of 3/4 inch plywood spray painted flat black. Then glued a piece of rubber on the bottom and glued that piece of alum. down for the GPS to stick to with the lick pad.

Like I said nothing fancy............but it works.

Use OilTrax software in the GPS.
