I have a 22 ft fifth wheel and all is good as far as lights and brakes (elec.)
everything works as it should except the break away for the trailer brakes, It doesn't work... I put a new switch on it and still nothing???
Anybody have any ideas as to where to start on this problem:icon_sad:

Oh and yes I tow this with my V6 4x4 long box...actually went and moved a friends 5th today that was a little bigger....27 ft

Thats the problem I think, it doesn't seem to have any power but not sure excactly how these are wired up.

I just put the new switch in the same way the old one was. I think all it needs is one side to a live wire from the battery and the other one to the brake wire......there would be no power on the brakes until the break away was pulled then 12v would be supplied to the brake wire causing them to lock up ?
Anybody know how or have a diagram of the wiring???????
