Shaker 500 Head Unit -- Stuck CD

Hey guys,

I've got a Shaker 500 head unit in my truck. It sounds awesome, especially with the factory sub box.

My problem is that I went to eject one of the CD's from the slot to install a new one and the damn thing got stuck. It keeps coming up with Eject Error.

Anyone have any ideas what to do. Not sure if I need to unplug the unit and plug it back in again to reset itself.

Thanks,

No, none of the other CD's will eject either. I haven't tried unplugging the unit just yet. Wanted to hear what everyone had to say first.

Is there an easier way of unplugging the unit without having to pull the front dash apart and pull the head unit?

you might be able to reach it by dropping down glove box but it's tight.

Well, I got the CD out of the deck. It was right there at the front of the opening. It looked like it was stuck on felt at the opening.

So, now that the CD is out, it still comes up with CD ERROR or EJECT ERROR. I unplugged the unit a few times, last time was for a good 10 min. at least. It did the initializing process but still comes up with these errors.

Any ideas...........
