just a little fyi to anyone that attempts this, unless you really..really know what your doing, i hope you realize the only place this is going to immobilize your vehicle is in the middle of nowhere when you need to get somewhere.
Get it done at a REPUTABLE shop if you HAVE TO. Here in manitoba, they pretty much force people with certain vehicles (most at risk to theft) to have them installed. The problem is 75% of the shops that do it **** your vehicle up so bad that you just want to scream. Not to mention theives are still stealing these so called "unstealable" cars. And people are left on the hook because apparently "they are foolproof".
They are a ****ing joke, and like i said earlier, unless your really good at it, don't even bother.
Most if not all newer fords are equipped with immobilizers in the key iirc. I'm sure shelby can lend a few words.
