Sub had arrived- Here we go Again

Finally after a long wait, my RD Sonance 12" sub has arrived (and I ended up with a spare 10" in the process ) Now I need to throw a box together for it temporarily and replace the 2 10" Kenwoods. When time permits, it will be getting moved into a console. I'll post some pics when I get there.

I've got to get it done over Christmas, I just gave up my 2x 10" Kenwoods to a buddy and my truck is now Sub-less. It's like loosing one of your kids... OK well I guess that is a little too dramatic but you know what I mean.

Yup, I'm actually pulling a 4 year old thread forward because I did what I said I would do, I finished the console and sound system. Here's a few pics:

I've got to get the system tuned (Alpine H701 is beyond my ability to tune) & I have to do some work to the door panels to clean them up. Other than that, I will likely modify the dash to replace the 8" monitor with a 10" then call it a day.

Then move onto new seats or at least replace covers with leather and an engine swap is still in the plans, either another 6.0 or a 5.9, not really sure yet.

Wow. Nice looking console/sub box. Very professional looking.

That's a ton of work, but the time and effort paid off. Like the man said, looks good, thanks for posting the pics.

Nice job.

Looks like the head unit is an Alpine from 8-10 years ago. I had a similar unit in my previous truck.
