New Deck going in!!

Well after much reading and shopping around I finally decided on getting rid of the stock radio and upgrading to a Kenwood DNX 6140 !!

I currently have cables running to my gps and my visor mount blue tooth hands free device for my phone and got tired of the cables everywhere.
I am looking forward to getting rid of those having everything built into the one device.

My appointment to get it installed is for Thursday morning !!
I will post before and after pics when it is done.

Thumbs up

I had Kenwood decks in both my Mustang and Mark LT and have nothing but good things to say about them. A buddy of mine just put there latest high end model in his 06 Vette and it sounds awesome.

I think you will be very happy.

Well I got the new deck installed today. I have a liitle bit to learn on all the functions it has but so far I love it. No more cables to my visor blue tooth device and my gps. It is all integrated into the new deck and my ipod is plugged in as well but it is in the glove box.
Before and after pictures below.

Congrats on the new deck. I'm agree on the anoyance of cables & screens hanging everywhere. It makes the truck look like you took a run through the walmart electronics dept. an bought one of everything. The after pic looks great, have fun with it!

Mav, the new deck looks great - 110% better than before!

Out of curiosity, where did they stick the GPS antenna?

They put the gps antenna in the front drivers side dash, as close to the front window as he could get it with out interfering with the vents. I do not see it at all when I am driving.
The only other thing I would like to add is the rear camera but the wife says I have spend enough money for now.
