I would go get an AVR test done to verify what's going on exactly then you won't be chasing your tail.

Is it possible this is a "feature" and not a "bug"? I've noticed on a lot of modern vehicles that the dashboard lights dim down a notch when you turn on the headlights. I guess the logic being that you get less glare from your dashboard lights at night, and the stereo, etc. needs to be brighter in daylight. Just a guess?

If Princess Auto were a real girl, I'd ask her to marry me.

it is normal for the interior lights to dim when headlamps on,especially when you have auto headlamps(is a common feature on 04-08 f150)

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.
