Superduty tow command

Hi everyone, quick electronics question. Does anyone have experience with the tow command system in the superdutys? I like the trailer brake with aux switches but i understand the wiring for them is only good in the 2004 and up trucks. Mine is a 2003. Has anyone made the switch or is there an aftermarket controller with switches?

I think it would be a big job. Wiring aside, you would need to update to a brake pressure transducer equipped master cylinder. Also it integrates with the message centre in the newer trucks. I don't know if it will work if this cannot be done due to the lack of the message centre in the 2003.

I was afraid of something like that!! I liked it cause it looked really clean with the switches. Just have to figure out a new way to add them I guess.

The switches are not the problem to add if you buy them separately. It's just the brake control that would be difficult to get to function.

Take a look:
