6.4L DPF delete question

If I delete my dpf do i need to add a tuner as well? Can someone recommend a good tuner if one is required. Is there a place online to purchase this in canada reasonablly cheap? If you do not wish to put on the forum, you can pm me the info.
Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks.

edit.
You do NEED a tuner..
The pipes can be bought separately, but a tuner is needed.

Tuner wise this is what I've heard is the way to go.

Quick google this place sells the tuners and you can add the dpf and cat delete pipes.

You NEED a tuner and that's all there is to it. The PCM monitors exhaust back pressure (fore and aft) and temperature. It needs to see readings from these sensors in its expected range.

Your tuner removes these strategies from its operating parameters. If you can still find an H&S then it comes highly recommended. These days we are sourcing tuners from SCT.

edit: also, the mileage gain is excellent. I went from about 22 litres/100 km to 16. And no building oil : )

Wow, I wonder what the new 6.7L will do with a DEF delete. I get on average with no load in the high 11sL/100 km, with trailer load it jumps up to 18.
