5.4 Triton

Hi - I have a E350 with a 5.4 Triton (vin "L") that needs to be replaced (Heads or Head Gaskets) I have been told that a 5.4 out of a "F" series truck will not fit. Does anyone know why is it the block, trans or what. if the engine and tranny were to be changed would that work? If anyone could answer these questions I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Rob

Everything is different on the E and F Series 5.4L, I don't know what the difference is but the block heads and oil pan are all different. Probably a lower profile on the E Series because they are squished in there.
