turbos

so i just sold my lightning, i'm 90% sure i'm buying a lincoln ls with the 3.9L v8, i'm thinking i'll be installing an sts turbo, probably 10-14psi boost, can anyone tell me if i'll need to upgrade injectors, also for a daily driver do i have anything to gain from running twin turbos?
thanks

well from what i've read upgrading injectors is probably a good idea, i mean if the engines not designed running with boost, everything should be accounted for when converting. as for twin turbo setup, not too sure about that one, but i don't see any point in it considering it'll be a DD, you probably wouldn't use their full potential.

You might also have to upgrade the fuel pump, with bigger injectors pumping more fuel in you migh need a stronger pump to keep up.

I don't think the 3.9L will handle 14 pounds of boost. It will take probably 8 pounds tops unless you build the motor. For a daily driver you would want one small turbo or 2 really small turbos. The plumbing will be a nightmare with 2 turbos though.

You would also need a blowthrough MAF (for ease of tuning), matched injectors for the power you are making, new fuel pump, custom exhaust work, a fuel pressure regulator and a custom tune of some sort to make everything work.
