Need some advice

My Bronco (79 400m c6) only needs one more head rebuilt and the new to it Rad put in. I know of a 78 351m that is for sale for $150. Now my question is would the heads from the 351 be the same as the ones on the 400? I am thinking about buying the 351 for the heads and other stuff, what are the major differences between the 2? The 351 is said to have been a good runner before it was pulled for a 460 I believe.

So should I buy the 351 or just get the second head from the 400 rebuilt?

351M and 400M are the same heads but you might be in the same vote Why not just get the Heads rebuilt anywhere from 250 to 500 for rebuilt heads

if you want "balls to the wall"performance they are recasting the 351c aussie aluminum high flow heads, they cost about 1200 per head but you won't find anything that will out perform them out of the box, just an idea (your wife can send complaints care of shelbyx1 to this station lol)

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

LOL If I had that kind of money to spend on it it wouldn't still be in the garage, I'm on a tight budget with this so I just want the thing to run under it's own power. I think I'll just get the second head rebuilt. Saw the 351m for 150 and thought it might be a good idea.
