Blown head gasket 2001 5.4L

I have coolant in my oil and oil in my coolant are these symptoms of a blown head gasket? or could it be something else. Still runs well but I dropped the oil and coolant and put new oil in. any help would be appreciated.

yes it could be or the other problem you could ahve is a cracked block.

lets hoppe its just a head gasket and there a b!tch to change out
cause after you take eveny thing off change it you. you gotta start your truck let it heat up then pull your valve covers off and retork the head bolts.

it could be a head gasket,or if you have an oil cooler on the block(just behind oil filter)it could be leaking also,as for the retorquing of head bolts they are torque to yeild now and don't require retorque.

a moments silence for the shelbyx,i hope her new owner enjoys as much.

Holy wish I had this guy's money to just swap a motor in, every 5.4 on the internet I have found with low mileage are around 1800-3000

if you do pull apart the old motor, try to be careful removing the intake and heads that you dont tear the old gaskets. then at least you will be able to determine if it was a head gasket, cracked block, cracked head. you should see a break in the old gasket or an area were you can see a leak across the gasket.

Easy way to find the head gasket leak is to pull the plugs 1 at a time which ever 1 is burnt white shows you where the leak is.

Thats if it's leaking into the combustion chamber.
could be just inbetween 2 passages. 1 being oil other being coolant.
could have overheated it and worped the head(s) and then
