According to mod5, the cam sensor shows as in the left cylinder head towards the center of the intake manifold or in that area. The left cam sprocket shows an extra part that would be used for a sensor and the electrical shows it near the manifold tuning valve solinoid? But says, "On front of engine's timing case cover". Hope this helps. The PCM is located in front of the power distribution unit drivers side under hood. One other thought, if I may, I had a 1986 dodge 600 a long time ago that would not start. Turned out to be what chrysler used as a reluctor for ignition timing had popped the rivets that held it in position. Looked like a castlated pop can. PCM showed code as engine not cranked despite the fact that the starter turned the engine over rather well. Looking at the diagram for the 3.5l's left cam sprocket makes me wonder if it's possibly the same thing or similar. The crankshaft position sensors is described as being on the right side if tranmission housing. Haven't found a pretty picture for it yet.
