Efan install, mostly wiring help needed

So I have about 95% of my efan kit parts. Just need to fab up the brackets and do the wiring.

The wrenching part I good with, I just would greatly appreciate any help with the wiring setup. I'm just not confident in my wiring skills to install this properly without frying something.

So if anyone could help me install this stuff sometime in the near future that would be awesome..I'll even bring the beer. I don't mind travelling a few hours if I can get the help.

Basically, its 2 16" fans, 1 dual fan controller. I want to have 2 LEDs mounted in the cab that light up when the fan(s) are on, 2 manual overide rocker switches so I can turn the fan(s) on in case the controller craps out.

The fans draw 20A @ startup and 6-7A when running. My controller can handle 30A/fan. I've got 2 30A-40A 12 gauge relays. I plan to use 10 gauge wire to connect the rest. I plan to over-engineer it so I know it won't melt.

Thanks.

Whaddya mean I dont pay my bills?? Whydya think I'm broke!!

What kind of time frame are you looking at? I must admit, I'm curious about the controller you have. I have been looking for an electronic controller to do something similar to my truck but the closest thing I've found so far is at one of my electrical suppliers. It's large and ugly, not somthing I would want in the dash board. My guess is that you have a temp. sensor that feeds into the controller and it in turn drives the relays which will control the fan motors and the switches will also control the relays. PM me if you want to collaborate on this.

This is where I got my controller. They don't sell the FK60-60A one any more but it looks just like the FK50 one they sell.

Ideally I'd like to get it done before the gtg at Jims in May but there is no huge rush.

Thanks for the offer of the shop. Might have to take you up on it.

I'll try this weekend to make rough diagram of how I think the wiring goes but its been along time since I took my last electrical class.

The fans should arrive next week and I'll pick up most of the wiring stuff this weekend. Just have to find a place that sells SXL wiring.

Aw c'mon! Wiring is easy, especially if your an electrician. Oh wait! I am an electrician.

All kidding aside, I'd be happy to help out. Beer is not a prerequisit but a Timmies has to be near by. I need to get down London way sometime soon anyway as my daughter wants me to come visit.

Dest --- that would be awesome. There are Timmies everywhere in London. I can use my gf's driveway to work on it..and if it rains I can just barely get the front clip of the truck in her garage. So far the only weekends that are no good are Easter and May 2nd(gf's b-day).

Update -- I got the 1/2' split wire loom, 2 LEDs, 2 SPST rocker switches, shrink tubing and a pack of eyelets for grounds. Still need to order the wiring.

Not sure if I'll need inline fuses for the LEDs/switches.

Ok this is a VERY rough diagram of how I want to set it up. It is by no means an accurate wiring diagram. I'm not sure where the relays are supposed to go or how exactly the A/C is connected to all of this. Basically I want the 2 LEDs in the cab to light up when the fan they are connected to is running. The switches are a manual overide to power on the fans in case the controller/relays stop working. If anyone wants to improve on the diagram feel free to PM me and I'll send you the pic. I just did this with Paint.
