I've actually noticed that around me, there is already 10% ethanol in regular, mid grade and premium. I've bought chevron 94 octane the last couple fill ups. It is not supposed to have ANY ethanol....

I also had a super 40 flowmaster muffler on my truck. I'm just telling you what got ME 'good' mileage. Make sure you don't over oil the kn AND clean the MAFS whenever you clean the filter at minimum....

Ditch those goodyears, they SUCK. Stay with a stock or close to stock size tire to keep fuel consumption in check. Don't bother with an intake, just remove the snorkel in the factory airbox and drop...

I got on a regular basis 550km to a 74L tank in my 07. That was right from 6km when I picked it up. On an all highway trip to calgary I got 800km out of a tank. That was with cruise set at 95 km/hr....

why not just swap in a newer lower mileage...

why not just swap in a newer lower mileage motor?? Easier and probably cheaper. Then you can build it up out of the truck.

So I just joined here.. I have an 07 ranger sport 4X4, stock except for a k+n drop in filter. nothin special, but a flowmaster 40 coming hopefully this summer.
