40s are quieter than the 37s,but still louder than the boggers on my 79 bronco,so guess they are a bit loud

i herd with the bigger tires that you dont feel all the little bumps on the road and the pot holes arnt as bad cus the bigger tires. since you have some BIG A.. tires lol you feel thats true??

bigger tires are way smoother over bumps & dont drop into pot holes as easy

it handles good still.better than with the stock 20s at legal hiway speed.at not so legal hiway speed it does lean a bit in corners,but hey they are 40s.i didnt even balance the tires & there is absolutely no shake or shimmy.nitto makes the roundest tires ive ever seen.i dont run a steering stabilizer,so i expected the worst,but this is the second set of mud grapplers & both have tracked perfect.mileage is reading 12-14 on the edge programmer,but honestly i really dont care,i am happy with mileage suffering a bit if i can have a truck on decent size tires
