2022 Ford F-350 Platinum with 4x4 engagement issues. We have had severe cold weather here (-25 to -40) for a couple of weeks now and it seems as though the 4x4 will not engage. The light on the cluster is on and the switch is rotated to 4h but at times doesn’t feel engaged. Yesterday morning I was leaving for work and had left the 4x4 engaged from the previous day, trying to pull out of my snow filled driveway was impossible as the rears tires would spin. Disengaged traction control and it felt like the 4x4 was not engaged. Shifted to 4L hoping that would help but again no luck. Back to 4h and nothing then all of a sudden it felt like it was engaged. Hoping to get some feedback about if cold weather could cause this issue…..manual hubs not engaged and have not tried them yet.

If manually locking the hubs doesn't stop the problem, then I would look at the electric shifter for the transfer case.
