I am from Calgary area. I just bought a truck last month so I am not to sure where the good trails are. I know where they are on Vancouver Island. SOOKE.
Going on a trip next month

The wife and I going to take a trip through the mountains (Rockies) next month. She has never been to Alberta before, so I`m flying out for aweek. Taking her to the west Edmonton mall, then to the mountains and maybe Calgary. Plan on taking lots of pics. I will post them when I get back. Should have my mods on by then (she hasn`t seen my new truck yet).:icon_lol:

That will be a Surprise to her
Trip through the rockies will also be nice

Looking to plan a trip some time this spring. I went on a trip a few years ago through the rockies with a different ford group and it was a blast. Banff to Jasper and an overnight BBQ. Would anyone be interested. Any dates, places, photo ops atc would be great.
I'm in Taber, about 50km's east of Lethbridge. Everyone I know loves the Dutch Creek area on the forestry trunk road and the Crowsnest Pass. Lots of backroad trails in these areas. Not much in the area around Taber, but thankfully the mountains are only a couple of hours away!
grande prairie area lots of trails for both atv and trucks almost endless supply been here my whole life
I took some guys to the frank slide area a few years back to view a old ghost town named Lille it was a nice ride. Other wise everything else I have encountered is serious offroad rig stuff, big holes etc.
I remember you posting pics of that trip. It was really cool. You see much of Jack these days?
No, I saw his truck once last year and that was it. Im sure he is still around but he is a busy guy using his truck for what is made for.
what up alberta
Jack moved to the east coast at the begining of the year. Brad, do you still have pics of that trip? That was a fun time and the first time I used those swampers on my truck (never got a pic of it on them !!!) Would be fun to do that one again.
Heck ya I have pics, shoot me your email and I will send them to ya, I would love to do that trail again but the Dodge has a crappy intake location and is likely to suck in water, but we can give her a try, lets do it!!!

I am busy this weekend but next weekend is free. And I'm gonna have the 350 so I may not be doing deep water either.
post the pics again.
I'll post them after he sends them too me, unless he beets me to it.
Not sure how to post pics here yet but they are on this site now. Enjoy, I did.
