Well I can scratch another mod off my list as done.

Finally got that LED light bar I got from Matt mounted.
Just used a drill and 5 self-tapping screws to mount it.

Looks great and all light modes work, even hazards.

I'll take some pics tonight at work.

Because my bed is Line-Xed and the 3M stuff wont stick to it. Even if it did I don't have faith in the tape to hold long term. I'll take pics tonight at work when its dark.

You cant even see the screws unless you get up close and look under the tailgate.

Ok thanks...good thing I kept it. I am going to cut it down and use the small part as my home intrusion protection device. Thats some thick cardboard tube :icon_lol:

I took a pic tonight but I forgot the USB cable and the card is too big to fit in my laptop cardreader. At the next GTG I'll have to get Tim to bring is camera so I can get some video of it. It looks just like the one in Tim's video but unlike his, when I put on the blinker the opposite side stays lit but doesnt blink. On Tim's if he puts the left blinker on the right side goes dark, mine doesn't work that way but it still looks cool. I'll post the pic when I get home from work in the morning.

Edit: Ok just viewed Tim's video again, maybe its my bad eyes but it looks like one side goes out when the other side is blinking. Tim can you confirm this? Do they just dim when the blinker is on or does it go completely out.

2 levels of lighting, bar is constantly lit. What you are seeing is me tapping the brake between switching signals, my bar is the same part as yours.

Ahh..ok thanks. I took a pic last night but since I was alone and it was frickin' cold it only shows how it looks with just the lights turned on. So since its the same as Tims if you wanna see the blinkers just watch his vid cuz I aint freezing my boys just for a pic :icon_lol:

They are available in lots of places. One of the site's affiliates, Blackstock, sells them.
As do most performance shops and quite a few places online. The 2 bigger brand names are PlasmaGlow and Recon.
