battery JB wiring removal??

gents,

I am wanting to remove a wire from the battery junction box (the one on the back driver side of the engine compartment. I see there is a black tab you have to push back in order to get the steak-on to become free and then be able to remove.

I am having a problem being able to push that black pin back far enough to be able to free the steak-on.
Does anyone have any tips for me to get it out?? (and w/o breaking anything)

I know no one has replied, but i did find the answer.
A ford tech told me you have to remove all the fuses/relays and then the red cover in the fuse panel.
I have since then been told by steve83 from f150online.com that this is true.
