For the people going to the GTAMC drag day, I have gotten the okay to bring a BBQ. What I need to know is who and how many people are coming so I can get the food, I am thinking nothing fancy(hamburgs and hotdogs). I'll be bringing a case of Coke, Diet Coke, and water. If you want something different, bring it and we'll cook it. If we don't have any hotdog fans, I can switch them out for Sausages.

What you need to bring :

-yourself
-somewhere to sit
-ford truck

Respond in this thread if your going and how many people in your party, also don't hold back any suggestions either.

Thanks, Tim.

i'm bringing myself

i think it would be good for one or 2 people to buy food, and we can split the cost between all of us, that way one person doesn't get stuck paying.

I should be there baring any unforseen circumstanses, (have a not so slow tire leak that I have to try and get fixed Monday).
I will be bringing me and six others, lol, don't worry about me and the BBQ.
What time are you guys going and are you meeting up some where. I'd be nice to convoy out together.

Don't think so, just take the Highburry exit to Wilton Grove to Wellington.

If the Timmies is the one I am thinking of, its just past the Costco and next to Action Van& truck world. If thats the one just take the Exeter off ramp and then turn left at the lights at Wellington.

I'll be there party of 1 but I'll pass on the sausages thanks anyway.

damn you guys are making me wake up early!!! i have to drive from sarnia...lol

i've never been to the timmy's on wellington, but i'm sure i can find it...i'll look for a bunch of sexy trucks!!
count me in, but it takes me about 50min to get to london, so depending on traffic and on my lazy ass, i may get there a bit later than 9:30. but i'll try my hardest....i bet i'll be early too!!

so what do you guys think about splitting the $$ for food?? makes it a lot easier than a bunch of people bringing a ton of food each!
let me know what you guys think
and what about condiments (ketchup and mustard)??
if not, just let me know what i need to bring.
oh, and how far is the sunoco on wellington from the track? i don't want to put a full tank to race, nor do i want to bring a jerry can (ultra 94 would be nice to steal!).

Its about a 60Km drive from where I live to the track and its about a 5 Km drive from my place to the Timmies in question so that should give you some idea on how much fuel you need, the Sunoco is about 500m from the Timmies.

Just put a sticker on the can that says Ethanol, no one will touch it :))

I can bring the mustard, relish, ketchup. Was going to grab a 4 bags if chips too unless someone esle wants too?

I like it too
Is the exit open yet
No, the guys coming from the GTA. Take Exeter rd exit than turn left onto Wellington, go over 401 than Timmies will be on right just past Cosco.

lightning25, 402 to 401, take Wellington Rd exit turn right,Timmies is on right past Costco. You and I will than leave together and go to Sunoco, I am on Empty and will put $30 in that is enough to get to track and run while keeping weight down. After we leave Sunoco everyone else can pull out of Timmies and follow us down to track.

I have all food covered, we can worry about splitting bill later in day.

Remember entrance fee is $30 for racers and $10 for spectators.

thanks for the directions!
as for gas, well i have between 3/4 and full right now and i won't be driving (or seeing)her until the day i leave to go racing, so i think i will actually have more than enough to drive there, race and drive back to london to fill up for the drive home.

thanks for the update on food and such....i'll bring $$

i just hope it doesn't rain like its supposed to on friday! i could see an ant crawling on the driveway in the reflection on my truck yesterday!! and it wasn't one of those big ants either! i might have to settle for a dirty truck:gr

See everybody tomorrow, we will wait at Timmies for 10 or 15 minutes in case anyone is running late.
Glad no one was running late....:blah:

Had a great time! Currently uploading videos, BTW the helmet did not effect the audio of lightning25 getting me at the line.

Hopefully BP will post many of his pics here, I will start a thread once my videos are uploaded. Sean(dohp) with the Green Mustang took over 500 pictures, I will steal them and bring them over here when he posts them.
