Hey everyone, I'm from the interior area of b.c , just moved back after 7 years in edmonton. i know lots of good areas to go riding, but my truck has some tranny issues. i have been to local trans. shops, diesel.com, ford enthusiasts.com, oilburners.com, no one can seem to help. i cant afford the 3000 dollar re build cost that the trans shops want to re build a e4od. im a diesel mech by trade, but i have never re built a auto trans before. before i waste a great deal of time explaining the problem, i would like to know if this is a site to find trails and 4x4 places ( which i would like to get to know more of) or is this a tech site also. please let me know if anyone has any e4od know-how. if not when i get the truck running again i will let you all know.
thanks
pete

What do you mean where are we? This whole thread is about where we live in BC.:icon_confused:
Hows everyone been enjoying the weather? I seem to be getting alot more things done that I've been putting off like cleaning the inside of the truck and giving her a good wash.. Might go do a little dirt biking this Sunday if the weather gets nice this weekend, anyone else in BC doing anything exciting?
in MIssion at the track
Are you just doing some tuning or is there an event this weekend? Me and my buddies will be going to the Friday night drags when there back up and running and I hope I see your truck in person one day.
I am mostly at the track with my rx7 but some fridays I bring both down. I hate to wait so I run in import and domestic It makes it more fun.

And nothing doing at the track yet.... really soon it will be
