Before the Escape...

Just figured I'd post what I had before I got into the realm of Ford Trucks.

I traded in this to get the Escape:

Name was Black Betty, 2005 S197 Mustang (Mustang GT). Black on black leathers, Pirelli P-Zero Nero's, 5spd, 4.6L, GT Premium upgraded interior, GT premium rims, Aftermarket tint, Infinity Basslink sub added to the trunk, and Infinity refference 6x8's swapped into the rear deck.

And before the Mustang, I had a 2001 Focus ZX3 that I was converting into a Euro-spec model, and used on a regular basis to annoy people with imports with (mostly Subaru's, BMW 3 series, and lots of Hondas and Toyotas ). I usually did this on twisty roads or decreasing radius ramps and curves on the highway...as my little Focus could handle like a real-life slot car...

That car had a fair bit done to it...Focus RS suspension care of Sean Hyland Motorsport, Focus SVT Rims, SVT Moda edition side mouldings, Focus RS side skirts (from Germany), Focus WRC spoiler (German), Focus ST 170 headlight conversion with Sylvania Silverstar high and low beams (German), Focus ST170 upper and lower front grilles (UK), Fuzion ZRi tires, Polyeurathane and graphite bushings and HD swaybar links (Moog), Ebay clear corners, 5W-20 Synthetic engine oil, FRPP 9mm ignition wires, AEM CAI, Focus Central 60mm Throttle body, MBRP cat-back exhaust, JVC Arsenal Head unit, Power Acoustik everything else (6x8's front and rear, capacitor, amps, 2x 10 subs, etc).

Before that I had a 1978 Mercury Zephyr 2-dr Notchback sedan that I had done a lot of Mustang GT conversions to (Rims, tires, full suspension, brakes, etc etc).

Anyways, this post is getting huge...

Thanks for looking!

love the stang!

Thanks! I'd love to have a new one, now that they've finally outfitted the cars with engines that are more powerful, and make it harder for the imports to compare to...
I'd love to get my hands on one of the new 400hp 302's myself!

Sweet
nice rides!but i guess the escape is more practical for the family:)
Yeah it is, but I'm limited as to what I can do with it. I think there is going to be a decent aftermarket for the newer Escapes soon. I can really only do rims and tires, stereo, and maybe a couple of other things like a Magnaflow exhaust...
Nice vehicles..

You in woodstock?
Not many people know of Sean Hyland Motorsports.. ;)

edit
seen one of your other posts saying your from ottawa.
