..it's a "ride" now .. but nice start to some project if ya pull it apart & sand blast everything .. pretty rusty underneath

I like the unibody versions of those trucks but the regular two part box & cab versions .. not so much

unibody truck has really nice proportions..

Nice truck, but...
The left rear cab mount should be examined. And, one does not use an F-250 chassis under an F-350 configuration. There are differences in structural capability. This truck is technically not restored to original, but customized. Don't get me wrong, I love the truck and would love to own it but it hasn't been customized enough for me.

I am still here once in awhile. It's tough though. Just got a hell of a deal on exhaust for my old girl. The system I put on in 2011 rotted out and my buddy in the exhaust business had a customer come in with a new truck who wanted straight pipes put on. I wound up with new muffler with the square chrome tip and new exhaust pipes. $200. including labour! Can't ask for much better.

so .. back in 2015 I installed eight brand new MSD coils...

today , I got a ruff runnin' truck and a fault code

misfire cylinder #1

been a while since I seen that...

my 01 has had 14-16 o-e coils over the years.. that routine coil "exchange" stooped when I swapped in the MSD's

peeps say they aint so great...
lol.. OOOk ..

keep buying the ford crap and keep paying.... and payin...

and payin...

good thing...
I bought nine of the msd's

..."cause..
"I know"...
ain't nothin , lasts forever...
but 6 years...
ain't bad

and it's a lot cheaper than continuing random failures..

I did use the grannatelli solid cable coil to plug connectors with 'em too

I think losing those stupid coil spring connectors might have helped

I know when I swamped them in the ignition got crisper .. snappie-r and I then realized you CAN feel those stupid springs as you drive buzzin' away madly

..so..before I go fer coffee in da morning I got a wee job to do..

cylinder #1.. nice .. hopefully easy..

Don't forget the $200 extraction fee for a broken spark plug.
