on the 98 ford f-150 , 5.4l tirton. from what i can see it looks like i need to pull the fuel rails to get at the coil over packs and to remove the plugs? if i loosen the 2 little bolts that atatch the fuel rail to the manifold, i should be able to pull the fuel rail up and the injectors should just come with it right?

No, on contrary to what some people will say, you don't have to remove the fuel rails. The Coil On Plug (COP) assemblies will come out past the fuel rail.
You will have to remove your intake

HAHA, have fun and dont plan anything for a hour

I hate them, but at work I don pull the fuel rails becasue something else could happen then your screwed.

all of them are easy beside the 2 last ones on the drivers side. The very last one is not too bad, just turn the fuel line retainer becasue the tab might be in your way.. But for the other one use a flex socket and it should come.

Blow out the holes befor taking the plugs out!! you wont believe how much sand can be in their, and IT will fall in your engine
