Y'all have to realize this is the second year in a row that this story has surfaced, if anything Chevy would put the money out for Gilliland and the Rooster before Ford would put the money out for DEI. This would be a huge loss for Ford, being that Yates supplies the motors for Roush and RGM. You thought DEI was dominent before at restrictor plate races, imagine DEI and Chevy money backing an engine builder like Yates! :bye:

This is what blows my mine, to alot of people in the NASCAR world Jr is the best current driver.:fly:

What has he accomplished? I put at least Tony Stewart, J.Gordon,J.P. Montoya and R.Gordon ahead of Jr as far as racing talent. Mind you J.P. and Robby haven't done as much as Jr in NASCAR but when you add in their other credentials!

If Villeneuve could show his talent in NASCAR, until than I would have to leave him off. Becuase he could get behind the wheel and be like Montoya or be like P.Tracy.

Only problem with PV, he would make it look like guys like Gordon and Stewart are happy about everything!

I would like to see a fulltime canuck in the series, but PV would be the worst possible example!

Well the thing is, we cant even judge how good Gordon is yet, cause he's not done...look I'm not a Gordon fan, but I do appreciate his accomplishments and my guess is triple digits is not out of his reach in wins.
