Did anyone else read anything about this. this article was in the Hamilton spectator today.

Ford is reportedly recalling about 225,000 vehicles already repaired under an earlier recall to fix a cruise control deactivation switch problem.

Its Volvo Cars unit is also recalling 82,000 vehicles because of a rust problem related to a part that could lead to the vehicle's engine stalling

The Detroit News quotes the Dearborn, Mich.,-based company as saying the new recall affects only a small portion of the 10 million vehicles recalled since 1999 to fix the switch problem.

Ford dealt with the cruise control switch problem by installing new wiring harnesses in the recalled vehicles.

Now the automaker says some of those wiring harnesses appear to be defective.

The Volvo recall concerns the S40 and V50 models, made between 2004 and 2006, with five-cylinder gas engines.
