Location: St. Thomas Drag Way in Sparta Ontario

Schedule: Gates open at 10:00 AM, Time trials start at 11:00 AM, Grudges will start after lunch some time. The whole shooting match will be over by 4:00 PM.

Thought I would throw this out there as a spectator event for the truck guys, Biz will be running his Cobra and I may be running the Lightning if I can find the match ups

As an added incentive if you and Biz get beat all day I'll race yaz with my slow ass truck so you can go home winning something )

Maybe the new intake gaskets will help me...naww...now if I can somehow get Smoke's SC mounted on my truck without him noticing?? :tng

I am pretty sure we are allowed to bring in small BBQs, the admission is more on Saturday's though. If I ever get 3 grudge matches, I won't be sticking around for the night racing. Too much abuse for one day.

Tim...if you want a easy win against someone you can race me....BUT first I need to get a helmet!!! The last couple of years I have been thinking on getting helmet and just haven't done it....YET!!!!

Hey Gordon you only need the helmet if you run 13.99 or faster. As far as running against, it may not be possible on this particular day as the grudge matches are arranged thru another club. Allthough I don't have any matches yet anyways. If we didn't run together then, there is always the friday nights.

okay, just keep me updated as to what you guys do.
I'm not sure of my schedule yet, but i work every friday, and w/ the outage i'll have a few fri/sat's off (which starts sept 10th). i REALLY want to run at least once more at the track this year...and i need to put my line lock on too...brakes didn't like my brake torques last time :INF: or maybe i'll just be easy on her???

how is st. thomas' set up, as in quality? I've never been there, but i've been to grand bend motor plex.

Grand Bend is better if you run slicks, St.Thomas is good when it ain't humid. But the track after the 1/4 is rough and the runback road is new pavement.

i don't like that at all...not when you're going 180km/h!
but i'm sure that won't stop me
and w/o slicks at grand bend (well w/ my nitto 555's) i couldn't get traction if i tried...and i did try
maybe st. thomas will be better

so i got my outage schedule.....
i work thursday sept 14th night, and then off friday day, sat and sunday. i can go whenever, and i do plan on going. so is it still saturday day and evening??

Smokefan, think it would be wise to post something on svtperformance or f150online to let anyone in the area know about this (although i think most ppl on those sites are american....)???

I don't think i'll be doing a line lock kit...i think it would just make me want to do more burnouts and i don't want to be tempted. lol

also, i looked up st. thomas drag way and that day is:
SAT - 15 Chevelle Day + GTAMC + Test & Tune
guess we get to smoke some chevy's....no losing!!
friday is test and tune 6-10
and grand bend has T&T friday from 6-10 (gates at 5)

Just checked and I'm off the 15th, I'll try to keep that day open. Haven't been out this year yet. For some reason this summer has been to busy. Still need to do some maintenance work, plugs etc, and a good wash job.
