gents,

yet another issue i have w/ my lightning!!!

when i brake softly i have some brake squeak. it's only when i'm almost at a dead stop too.

is there an easy solution to stopping the ear wrecking noise!!????

brand new from ford last summer and i've only gone about 17,000km's on them.

oh, and i did some brake torques from the last time i went to the track....other than that, im really light on the brakes

It sounds like your breake pads have to much metal in them
Nothing you can do other than changings pads again

Ya can always oil em down...You wont be able to stop but at least the squeak will be gone )

yeah your pads are of a hard compound so they squeel a bit, were they a ceramic pad ? they do this (some) cuts down on the dust if there harder pads
