Doors open now..nice weather has arrived...:spz:
umm not really cuz i dont plan to have the volume up a lot, plus when i drive i ALWAYS have all the windows open :hot: and when i wheel i dont like to listen to music, unless its just a little trail. But I was thinking of mounting a computer fan or somthing small on the side just to help with the cooling. Thanks for the concern! :IAG:if you don't mind me asking aren't you worried about the amp overheating cause you've mounted it in a box and looks like you've covered up alot of the cooling fins on the amp. Just speaking from experience here. i used to have a system in my truck that put out 131.5db with 2 10" subs. Oh yaeh and mines a regular cab!
Got the computer nowmmmm rims, first i was got the eagle alloys 1378 the black center and polished ring but then later found out i didnt have enough backspacing, so i returned them and got simialar style rims but with more backspacing.
I got these but they didnt have enough backspace so i got these VVV
the bolt pattern for mine is 5 on 4.5 and the rims i got dont have that much backspaving like shown in the pic.
And as for the 4x4 computer, my truck has an electronic 4x4 shifter, so all i have to do is push a button and it goes into 4x4, once i push the button the signal is sent to the computer which tells the motor to shift in 4hi, now if i want to shift into 4lo i have to be completely stopped, in neutral, and on the brakes, then i can push the button, signal goes the computer and then goes into 4lo. My computer was located in the space behind the jumpseat which is kind of a stupid place to put it IMO. So im building a little box that i will add onto the sub box to hold the computer.
Now for the tires im gettin the mickey thompson baja claw radials, in a 35x12.5x15.
thats exactly what my wheel and tire combo will look like!
THXhey Matt, i must say your truck looks killer!! really stealthy lol you put a skirt on her and a billet grille would really set off the front end!
they would fit too, they come with 4.5 inch backspacing, and you wanna guess how much? $140 each canadian! the sizes start in 16's and go up.Got the computer now
That tire rim package looks really sharp
BTW those Black rims look nice, I would love to see them on my truck
