So I replaced my rear end with a salvage yard gem got it all in last thing I did drive shaft inch to short I'm I at a wrong angle or something or should i have installed the drive shaft then tighten ubolts

Welcome aboard. A few questions. Are you putting in the same type/model of axle? ie. 8.8, 10.5, Dana 60...? Are you using your original drive shaft? Is the axle in its' proper position on the springs? Did you try to install a lift kit at the same time? Lastly, what happens when you pull the drive shaft to the axle? Does it come out of the transmission completely? or is there still 2~3 inches still in it? Unless you have a split drive shaft, make sure you put the hanger bearing back in the right set of holes.
