I believe its either going to be Jeff or Jimmie.....right now Johnson on a great run in the last few races and Gordon is staying close. BUT....in the past both of them haven't had good finishes at these last 2 tracks. SO...we will see what happens on the last 2 races and see who will be the NEXTEL Champ!!!

Actually, Jeffy is comfortable at Phoenix and Jimmie has stupid good luck at Homestead. It could easily come down to last lap, personally like to see them wreck each other and seeing that JD car with the Title...lol

Unless the sky falls and hell freezes over, the 07 is out of it. Boyer reaction at the Daytona 500 finish, upside down and on fire, his first concern was checking the scoring tower to see where he finished. He's a racer. He has a huge hill to climb to get the title. Too bad.
J.J. is a fighter. He doesn't seem to have the incredible stupid luck that Gordon has. He's cut tires and has been at the wrong place at the wrong time on several occasions.
Gordon has been lucky more often than not...not taking away from his skill: his record speaks for itself. It wouldn't bother me to see Gordon take the cup, and going on to beat Earnhardt's 7 championships...history that probably won't be surpassed.
All that being said, I'm pulling for Johnson.

I really didn't like at first BUT now I am starting to like the COT. I think for me its that rear wing other than the car is doing what NASCAR wanted to be a safe car. After having a few races with the COT this year and by Daytona every team should have a good idea how race the car.

The 07 needs a some luck to win the championship!!!! I remember when Richard Petty won his 7th champonship than probably no driver would catch him BUT Dale Sr. did!!! BUT....there is one record Richard Petty has than probably no driver will break and that is 200 wins!!!

For some reason the team wanted to try someone else in the 4 car and apparently that didn't work!!!
