My grandpa used to drive truck like that from vancouver to teh mexican border. no AC, no power steering in some of them. that man was tougher than I can ever hope to be

Isn't that kinda dangerous to take both hands off the wheel just to shift?? Who's the engineering braintrust that came up with that idea? :icon_lol:

Little background, 133500lbs gross weight into a 80km/h wind. But it is a video of me running from 0 - 100 km/h with a downshift for a bump in the road. I'll try and do an empty(57000lbs) video soon.

Okay, so as far as I can tell, the small lever in front of the gearshift allows the "upper gears", but what is the white switch for? Couldn't quite figure that one out.

BTW, at 133,500lbs, you are getting close to Boeing 737 weights.

It is a splitter, each gear has an upper and lower

I stop after 6 gears..lol
I have rode in the Cobra you like the whine too much to take it pass second.
