I've seen good and bad reviews for Spray-on and Roll-on Box Liners.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Which brand is better?
Is Spray-on/Roll-on better than an Insert?
Price Difference?

don't know about brands, but definetly go with the spray in, i hate my insert. things slide around, if water gets underneath your bed can start rotting mighty fast

$400 for Elephant Hide spray-on boxliner at a local Body Shop.

It's a Polyurathane.
They scuff up the paint in the box, epoxy prime any bare metal, spray the liner and leave it in the heated shop overnight for curing. They recommend nothing heavier than a bag of Apples for 1 week.

I'm gonna price out the Shutz gun and materials to see how cheap I can do it for myself.

I watched a video http://www.duplicolor.com/training/truckbed_training.html
And didn't like the way it turned out by rolling it on. Too glossy and lumpy.
Duplicolor is available at Canadian Tire and is a Vinyl Polymer.
I wonder which is tougher, Polyurethane or Polyvinyl.

I had Line-x put on my truck a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. I went with the over the rail option so it cost a bit more. About $620 but I feel its worth it to keep the box in good shape for years. You can check out my album here for some before/after pics.

Hey BP, This is the link to find a dealer near you.
http://www.line-x.ca/linex/index.html

Mine was quoted at $505 before tax, but I went with the over the rail option so that was another $40.

They did a great prep job and it only took about 2.5 hrs from the time I showed up till the time I left. If you check my pics in vbGarage you can see for yourself.
