Ok sorry for the rant but....I friggin hate Ford center caps :ang: ....I lost one this spring so I bought a new set of 4 and now I've lost 2 in 3 days. Both times I didnt notice them come off till I got home and after retracing my route I found nothing. So...I've decided enough is enough. I've started looking for new rims. But its not easy to find 16" rims that match my bolt pattern that I actually like. I don't want to get bigger rims cuz I dont want to have to buy new tires.

Anyone know a good place locally that has a good selection and half decent prices? I've been looking online and there seem to be good bargains but just dont want to have to pay for shipping if I can avoid it.

I plan on taking my time to find just the right rims since I dont plan on getting them until prolly Feb of '08

Thanks, I'll prolly stop by there this weekend. Been trying to find a nice set of black wheels, but 99% of the ones I like only come in 17" or up.

Oh congrats on 2000 posts :drnk:

I've been treated well at Bob Willians Firestone on Dundas. They seem to have a good selection of rims and tires, don't know if they would have yours or not. There is also that rim/tire company that always advertises on one of the back pages of Tri-Ad mag.

Bob Williams may have something, he is a GM kinda guy and rarely has any Ford bolt patterned rims but you may luck out. He definately can order somed though. Bob Williams by far has the largest in stock selection in town.

I tried messing with the metal grabby part and I just ended up making it worse so when the last one fell off I just left that wheel as is.

Yeah I found a set I want its just a question of having the available cash.

These are what I want and they have them in 16s with the 5x135mm bolt pattern. Add a set of Gordan's Nascar tires and they will look sweet.

Nice find they almost look like the rims I ordered but 16's, when I noticed I lost a cap on my stock rims I checked the rest and one more was loose I had to bend little tabs outwords and they haven't come loose again in three years.
