got 19MPG on my last tank
I have a 4.6 07 Supercrew with two wheel drive and 3.73's. I have only had the truck about 3 weeks and have done very little hwy. I figure about 10 mpg city. I'm light footed but only drive a couple of miles back and forth to work. I was hoping for better milage with the 07 I just sold my 98 F150 4.6 which gave me about the same mpg. I'm taking the 07 to Fla so I have my fingers crossed for better hwy miles.

I also have the 5.4L with 3.73 rear end and I roughly calculated 22mpg on my truck's first tank (<1000kms on the odometer)

Ugh, six year old thread.

Thread died because if you're that worried about fuel mileage, maybe you need to sell your full size pickup and buy a Fiesta.

Currently running 14 to 15 litres / 100 km ( 22 miles per Imp gallon ) ; 5.0 w/ 3.73's.

4.9L getting between 8 and 14L/100km. Depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

4.6 getting 15mpg for last few months. It really doesn't like the cold winter temps. Usually gets 18mpg in the summer

The bronco gets 18 mpg year round though with the 2.9L 4.56's and 35s

I filled up yesterday for the first time since December 23rd. 17.0L/100km, not very good. I only drive the truck if I have to, we also have a VW Jetta that gets 35mpg.

5.0L, 3.55 gears here... last tank was 22L/100km...all city, no highway...but who cares this time of year...cold morning warm ups, playing in the snow. Plus I'm still new to the nice 5.0 L sound so I tend to step on it a little too much :icon_cool:

Coming from a 3.0L Ranger with 4.10's... I think I'm doing good...LOL

Best I've ever done in my 6.0L diesel (8400 pounds plus people) is 19.5 mpg...But then I don't even care because, for 20 years I drove a big block Ford that got maybe 8 mpg...on a good day! I love power!

FORK ME!

Hit 21 L/100KM this weekend. Got the Trailer Brake Controller installed and they reprogrammed the PCM and TCM for updates while it was there. Truck drives like a bag of shit right now but that is supposed to change eventually lol.

Help Required,

Tell me one thing. I have 2013 model Toyota corolla and my car is not giving me a good mileage on petrol. Why..... How can I increase my car fuel average?

Try getting something other than a Toyota or Nissan. They can't seem to get fuel efficiency very high from either company. Mazda is not much better. VW is good for mileage providing you use the right fuel.

15.0L/100km pretty consistently. I've been between 14 and 16L/100km since I got the truck in May. 5.4L with about 10,000km on it. I'm hoping it gets a little better over time, my other 5.4L was better on fuel.
